The “Armenia-Turkey Start-up Weekend” kicked off on 7 November. The event was organised within the scope of the “Exchange of Entrepreneurs” project, designed to bring together entrepreneurs from Armenia and Turkey. entrepreneurs have come to Armenia to share their knowledge and experience with local colleagues. This is the first event between our countries, but I am hopeful that our joint activity will be fruitful. We had a wonderful time here in Armenia both personally and professionally, and are looking forward to further cooperation’. During, a special roundtable entitled “Getting to Know Information and Technologies (ICT) in Armenia and Turkey and Exploring Collaboration Opportunities” was held the two-day event – government representatives, donors, entrepreneurs, investors and other ICT experts from both countries attended the discussion. Furthermore, a Google Product Manager and a Silicon Valley-based investor joined the exchange of ideas.
