On 10 October, at the EU Centre, the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Traian Hristea, presented certificates to participants of the second EU in Armenia club training course. Ambassador Hristea expressed his appreciation of the activities undertaken by the EU Centre, and hoped that similar projects would involve even greater numbers of people and develop further interest in EU-Armenia relations. He highly appreciated the high participation in club activities and growing levels of interest.

The EU in Armenia Club was established to encourage the development of influential and EU-knowledgeable alumni in the country. The club’s activities include engaging in training and useful networking events for senior officials and distinguished representatives of Armenian society. The aim of the training courses is to spread reliable information about EU-Armenia relations and cooperation. Participants include senior officials from the Armenian government, members of parliament, leading journalists, students, and representatives of civil society, academic, business, religious, and youth organisations.
