More Reform, More Support

On 14 December 2011 the new Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Traian Hristea, and the Secretary of the National Security Council, Artur Baghdasaryan, co-chaired the 8th Advisory Board Meeting of the EU Advisory Group (EUAG).
The last EUAG Quarterly Report and a Work Plan for January-June 2012 were presented.
In recent months the EU AG has provided Armenian authorities with advice on accelerating Armenia’s preparations towards a Deep and Comrehensive Free Trade Agreement negotiations with the EU, support on the launch of the EU-Armenia Mobility Partnership and the draft National Strategy on Human Rights Protection.
The Head of the EU Delegation highlighted that the ‘more for more’ principle would be applied regarding EU-Armenia cooperation: “more financial support, closer political cooperation and deeper economic integration for all those partners who have really embarked on deep reforms”, said the Ambassador.
