3 August 2011

Fashion without borders“The Fashion Road: Dialogue Across Borders”, a two year collaborative project, began in Yerevan on 4 May. Funded by the European Union, the project is implemented by the association of the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC).
The project will organise masterclasses for participants and discussions on topical issues in the arts sphere. Armenian and European colleagues will also get acquainted with their respective cultural heritage through a discovery of the history of national clothing. This will be complemented with the creation of fashion shows – working in five separate groups, one Armenian and one European designer will prepare a series of fashion articles. The resulting collections will be exhibited in Armenia and participating European countries.
