Exporting to the European market

6 May 2011

Exports are very important in the economic development of any country. Businessmen need accurate information about potential markets, tariffs and other business regulations in order to prepare successful transactions. With the aim to improve the access of Armenian entrepreneurs to the EU market, the Armenian-European Policy and Legal Service Centre (AEPLAC), together with the EU Advisory Group, developed the Export Roadmap for Armenia and presented it in Yerevan on 24 March. The manual will assist exporters who wish to be informed about demand in European markets, international trade contracts and possible advantages. In addition, it gives details on the step-by-step export process. Armenian exporters can also find information on exporting to the EU through the EU Export Helpdesk, now published in six languages (including Russian): http://exporthelp.europa.eu.
