On 15 February 2014 the first “European Youth Parliament (EYP) Business Simulation” conference on business environments in the context of the Eastern Partnership was held, organised by EYP and the EU Centre.
More than 30 youngsters, divided into 4 working groups, presented business environment development potentials of several Eastern Partnership countries, including Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, to a special jury. The jury of the Business Simulation conference consisted of investors from Sweden, Romania, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.
Following the presentations, the jury deliberated and voted that Moldova was the country with best environment development potential. The young delegates, however, voted that Ukraine was the best country for investment.
The working group which presented Moldova received the opportunity to take part in the International Youth Forum, organised by EYP, which will take place on 1-5 May and will bring together more than 200 young people from 20 countries.
