EU Advisory Group holds Third Board Meeting in Armenia

“The EU Advisory Group to the Republic of Armenia is multifunctional and effective”, said the Secretary of the National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan during the third Board Meeting of the Group. On February 22, the EU Advisory Group presented its report on the last quarter of 2009 and its action plan for the first semester of 2010. The Advisory Group assured it would continue to support Armenia’s reform efforts. Since its launch in 2009, the EU Advisory Group has been working in the fields of good governance and sustainable economic development. Currently there are 17 advisors to different Armenian institutions. Five of them are now working on trade and assisting Armenia in the preparation of a free trade agreement with the EU.
