On 11 July a pre-departure orientation meeting of students leaving to study abroad in frames of “Erasmus+” programme took place at the EU Centre. The event was organised by the “Erasmus Mundus” association with support of the European Union. Students from Armenia that are going to obtain an MA degree in European universities and get double European diploma, were invited to the event.

During the pre-departure orientation meeting a brief presentation took place, which revealed details of the “Erasmus+” programme to the participants. They got suggestions on how they can integrate into life abroad and discussed their future educational plans. Deputy Head of Cooperation of the EU Delegation, Jose-Maria Medina Navarro was also present at the event and gave a background of the “Erasmus+” programme. He also shared his own experience of education within the framework of the programme.

“Erasmus+” is a seven-year EU-funded educational programme that aims at boosting skills and employability as well as modernising education, training, and youth work across Europe. Within the framework of the programme over 4 million students will get the opportunity to study, train, gain work experience and volunteer abroad.
