These children are involved in groups using “Child-to-Child” methodology within the EU project “Regional Children’s Action for Participation”. They consider the broadcasting of low quality programmes, as well as the lack of educational programmes, as an important issue. To resolve the problem, participants have already met with state officials and broadcasters, as well as conducted surveys and corresponding research.
The “Regional Children’s Action for Participation” programme is funded by the EU and implemented by “Save the Children”, in cooperation with “The Future Is Yours” NGO. The project is co-funded by the US Agency for International Development through a grant project by “Counterpart International” Armenia. The project is implemented in parallel in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
