29th Meeting of BSEC Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs

On 12 December, the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Traian Hristea participated in the 29th Meeting of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation’s (BSEC) Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs. Delegations from the organisation’s 12 member states, as well as 9 observers andrepresentatives from partner countries, and BSEC structural and international organisations, also participated in the meeting.
The meeting’s agenda included issues on deepening of economic cooperation between BSEC members, on increasing BSEC’s efficiency, on enhancing and widening bilateral and multilateral collaboration between member states, and on BSEC’s cooperating with the EU and other international organisations.
During the meeting, the results of the Armenian Chairmanship of BSEC were presented and the activities of the BSEC Secretariat were discussed, as well as issues on deepening mutual and economic cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the Foreign Minister of Armenia, Eduard Nalbandian, transferred BSEC Chairmanship to the Foreign Minister of Bulgaria, Kristian Vigenin.
